Peter Birkett

Principal of Ellingham Hall International & PRS
Speaks about Buying up Bank Repossession Properties in Spain

Peter has been a Director of an International Estate Agency, and various IFA Firms including a National Plc.  For many  years he ran a specialist financial planning team advising SME business owners, property investors and  high net worth clients, This experience, he claims was all fun, but probably vital for where he is today.

Since 1996 he has also been the Principal and CEO of Ellingham Hall, an independent property consultancy  specialising  In foreclosed and heavily discounted residential property in south - eastern Spain.  The properties will, more often than not, be owned by the “Bank” having been repossessed.

The properties may be from a  developer in administration, or  suffering badly in the current market. In most instances though, the properties are  Bank repossessions, or are being  sold under their instructions. Peter says this may be bad news for the  developer but great news for clients, as the “Bank” will offer fantastic mortgage deals to help sell their real estate.  They are now offering a special Investment scheme for multiple investment purchases, and also will accept syndicates of buyers for single and/or multiple transactions.

Peter is a successful property investor both in the UK and overseas. He is often a speaker at Property Investment and Financial Services events. He facilitates business relationships with Intermediary Introducers, allowing them to introduce clients and investors to his Development Schemes, Property Strategies, and Investment Arena.

My Perfect Weekend

Childhood Ambitions

Motto for life

I have a very easy life and spend most of my time on holiday in Spain

Sitting in the sun, no phone, no kids, and a full case of Haut Brion.

To be a character, a millionaire, and own my own boat.

Never accept second best

Out of the office, married with two teenage children, Peter, an ex-boxer, and an ex-rugby winger, claims he now enjoys life’s more gentle pastimes, a round of golf, a week or two skiing, and the occasional glass of vino tinto. He says he gave up rugby and boxing because when he lived in Newcastle the two sports seemed to be getting rather tough, and he was getting just a bit too slow, and probably too old to compete in either. Not too slow though, as he loves Martial Arts, and is a Blackbelt Tae Kwon Do Instructor at his home town club in Malvern.
